Amongst Wild Neighbours' Offspring

As Lance told you, we have been hibernating, but what he has not realized yet, although we have been telling him, is that he will have more responsibilities and a playmate starting this spring.

In good company, and around the time when our wild neighbours' offspring will be born, we are expecting a new family member.

I'll leave it at that for now, since I am still figuring out how much of this unique experience I want to share on the blog. Your caring comments and messages following my (or Lance's) last entry have persuaded me though to share the news. Thanks!!!

  1. How exciting - can't wait to hear the rest of the story! Your news reminds me so much of what has happened in our family. Our daughter took in a second rescue dog to keep her first rescue dog company. To top this off, she presented us with our newest granddaughter a month ago. Her first baby girl is 23 - can you imagine our "grandgirls" are 23 years apart? We are loving it! Best wishes to everyone!

I bet you all enjoy living in the new house this winter, last winter you were still in the middle of building it, right?
